Biography

Shawn Patenaude joined Layh & Associates in 2005. Shawn primarily practices in the areas of Corporate/Commercial Law, Debtor/Creditor law, Wills and Estates, and Real Estate. Before joining Layh & Associates, Shawn worked in Cameco’s head office in Saskatoon. Shawn obtained a Commerce and Law degree at the University of Saskatchewan.

Shawn lends his time and expertise to community organizations. He is Chairman for Germania Mutual Insurance Company, a director for Langenburg & Dist. Activity Centre (a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Rehabilitation Centres) and a member of various community boards and commitees.

In his spare time, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife Kristy and two children, Preston and Alecia. He is an avid golfer and enjoys camping with his family.
